I thought I'd put this back up so we can continue to keep it in mind with the busy times ahead for us all.
I believe we had planned January 17, 2004 with a snow date of January 24. A location has yet to be determined but I believe it will most likely be in Connecticut? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Since I seem to be "between" PV and Ferrari, just know it certainly doesn't matter which way you guys go on this. I'm so sorry to have missed AI. He was gonna PM me with meeting plans and never did. I hope his trip went OK.
NPG, you silly goose, we'll ALL be together for the next show!!!

Thanks for the offer to travel southward, F1. We have a few more "southerners" who may want to join in the fun so why don't we wait for them to say if they are in or not before deciding on a location?
As far as there being somewhere right off the highway near me? Since I am off of exit 5 off the NJTPK, I would say "yes there is!" We've got some good eats and all up and down the turnpike but I know there are lots here in the south.
One more question... Anyone up for making it an overnight event at a hotel? Families and all included?

I am in the NY Metro Area,, if Connecticut somewhere like Mohegan Sun Casino,,
If NJTP somewher like Atlantic City,, but it is very cold in January, Sure we could find lots of club happenings in NYC,, of anybody check any concert schedules at Continental Arena, MSG,, or new Have and Hartford Civic Centers,, If it were a summer Thing I would say Great Adventure a Night with a concert and plenty of crazy shit to do.....

I hear ya, F1. I don't know if I could get the husband to come along either but I am sure he won't mind my heading off with the kids. He's pretty easy going. I don't know if that's good or bad.
I was just thinking if we found a place with an indoor pool then the kids would be happy. I know my two fish would be. And if we have happy kids, we have happy parents!

Hubby and I probably could swing a day trip, though the Navy screwing up our pay for December is really going to hurt us. We're going to be in MD and VA for a week that month, too. (Hubby is getting laser eye surgery and then we're swinging over to my mom's). Honestly, we'll be too poor for a sleep-over.
We don't even get to do anything for our 3-year anniversary on Dec. 30th. Did I mention the Navy totally sucks? ... to me.

Mohegan Sun Casino now that sounds good! We can all share one room crash on the floor, sofa, bath tub what ever as long as I get the bed
Better yet Rush tour in 2004 we could have a dandy of a party and hear the best band in the world play.

I got a lead on a place for a meeting. Thanks Tommy!
There is a Dave and Busters right off I287 by the Tappan Zee Bridge in New York in the Palisades Mall. They will have some entertainment for the kids if some of us need to bring them along. And I believe there is even an IMAX theater in the mall as well. Here is a link if you want to look around:

I read the policies pertaining to kids and the menu and it looks like a good spot. Let me know what you all think!

I have the 17th on my calendar and the 24th as a back up in case of snow.
