Happy New Year, stay with us 2009 and after US/Canada
( please, do not listen to the sh@tebag politicians who allegedly represent the UK, they are not in Iraq or Afghanistan fighting for the populace. Our soldiers are - same as US/Canadian soldiers etc. suffering losses emotionally and physically just like the Israelis. I/We have a lot of resentment towards 'our' politicians. I never thought I would see a day where they would try and sweep a storming of the embassy ( Tehran) under the carpet.
In most peoples' eyes that is a declaration of war....I have asked the question about that of the UK Govt but still await a reply from them. Amadinnerjacket's time will come and we will all make sure he goes out in style. Thanks for listening

Happy New Year's to you, too, Roc! And thanks for the entertainment!

Always nice to have something to do about here.
And don't worry, I don't think anyone around BT thinks that govt policies = the people's desires much. We all seem to have our own bones to pick with our own leaders.

Happy New Year!
Most of us are doing our best to avoid the filthy practices of politics these days. Plenty of room in the "politics" thread, though. Placing it there gives the opportunity for those of us who find it frustrating or even repugnant to avoid it all-together.
