Someone posted this on Rush Tour and I thought you'd be interested.
"The latest edition of 'Classic Rock' magazine is out and features a 2 page review of the second Rush gig at Wembley. Part of it caught my eye:
Dave Ling writes:
'Geddy agrees with my astonishment at the speed with which the tickets for Rush's UK shows have sold, adding that the band won't leave it so long again. After a six-month break there'll also be a new studio album, "with 2006 a realistic release date."
Looks to me that is a direct quote from Geddy!2

New album
'Do not despise the snake for having no horns, for who is to say it will not become a dragon?'
I think late 2005 we'll see a new album from the guys.
I mean they're not gonna take a year break are they?
The only reason they took a long career break in the late 90's was because of Neil's double tragedy.
I reckon they'll probably start work on studio album #18 in Jan-Feb 2005.
