I am going to complain about Rush. No, no, not Limbaugh, The Boys. The band Rush.

Yeps, that's right, there is something they've done that bugs me to no end. Here I am sitting at my computer inputting things while I keep the kids moving forward on their lessons and Working Man comes on and I just had to finally vent about this song. It's bugged me for years. Wanna know why? I'm gonna tell you and if you don't want to know, quit reading! lol

Well, I know the words, you know the words, right? Now, tell me, has it never bothered you that Ged complains about his life in this song? The guy gets to work at 9 and is home by 5! And this guy has the audacity to say he is "working ALL the time"!?!?!?@#U)(#*

Nothing going on around there, eh? Well DO something about it! *sigh*

Think you could live your life alot better than you think you are? Ged to it! Quit yer whining, Working Man and work it!

Okay *takes deep breath* I'm done.

Well, if you had to play that song every night for 30+ years, you'd be a little tired too!

BUT, I will argue that ALEX should be the complainer. God only knows
HE'S the "WORKIN' MAN" in the WM solos....holla.

I STILL can't play the complete WM solos. My fret hand begs for mercy
after only two bars of solo II!

MUCH respect to His Royal Highness King Lerxst. :-D

Update:

For those of you following along, I was rushed to the ER Friday night.

The good news is, whatever it was, has all but passed, the pain is down to a .5 or a 1. I have a slight bit of discomfort, but other than that I am just tired from the sleep I lost over the weekend.

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes. :)

Good news indeed Zed. Glad you're back Bro!

I drove down to Norfolk Sunday to see my best friend, who's going
through chemo for leukemia. I took him some cool do-rags I bought
from the motorcycle dealer in my town...

He's a 'rasslin' fan like me, so I got him a "Triple H" Maltese Cross rag,
two American Flag ones and two camo rags.

Life's totally not fair man. He's 43 and was totally blindsided by this.

He's starting to get sick from the chemo, and his hair's starting to go, but
when it does, I'm shaving my head. No need for him to feel alone.

Life can deal us some pretty shitty hands in this poker game we call life,
but he's throwing in his draw cards.

I hope he gets FOUR ACES back. Rock on my Brother. Stay strong.

See you again soon.

Dag, Zed. I'm glad you are better now. Get some rest, eh?

Cyg, I had a friend in much the same situation. One of the nicest, kindest guys I will ever be lucky enough to know. Tell your buddy there are some folks who don't know him from Adam, but wish him all the best and a complete recovery.

Yeah, me too.

And hang in there yourself, Siggs. I know that cancer doesn't just hit the individual, but it ripples out and has an effect on the family and friends and co-workers, and....

Yeah. If you're going to scorn me, do it to her as well, for she also spoke of Rush.

So, don't be a hypocrite, ya cheap piece of feline hair-vomit.

Well, I did forget a smilie but wrong board kiddo is hardly scorn.

And I also said my bit, but I was totally goofin with what I said. I took 0 offence to what t said and I took 0 offence to what you said.

Ok look. I wasn't going to bring up Cp but I guess I have to. I am not like the people that give you all the grief they do. But in reading your posts there and sometimes here I see why you get the vile ass chewings there. I again,am not like that.

So, if you were joking with me, cool, but let me in on it. If you were trying to be a prick, good luck kiddo. Now, pick your fucking stink and get on with it.
