Well.....maybe you could say that. I prefer bass, though.
And...I just have to say, Gavin.....*shakes head* wow.
Why is it I always think of Ogg when I hear him?

I learned to drum on a lefty kit, so I do everything backwards (as a righty), my brother in law in law has a kit, I sat down at it and was totally perplexed by trying to undo what I learned...
I gave up after 2 minutes.
Learning lefty on any instrument is just silly, I thinks. You greatly reduce your stock selection or ability to use other peoples equipment (not so much stock selection from drums albeit) . I am also a left handed folkle.
Just curious why learn left? friend played left and you used his kit or somesuch?

Every now and then playing "Left" as a right hander is fun and challenging. It allows for different things you might have trouble with the normal way. I like to call it "Playing open."
Yes like Zoro does t.
And Kenny Aronoff.
And some others I forget.

Not so much flying, although that does also happen. What I get most of the time playing open is feeding the jaws of a hungry hi-hat cymbal...........they love to eat drum sticks.
