I need to issue a correction. I misquoted the poll. It's isn't 60% of the Muslim world... it's 60% of U.S. Muslims that believe that no Muslims were involved in 9/11.

There is a lot of pain in the world...but if one asks the question of who was to gain from 9/11 or the wars in the gulf. I'd say 9/11 was a brilliant plan to spike the oil prices so the King can build his glorious city of Dubia and who else has oil? Where did the pilots come from... hmmmm

The only way to get back - and the ONLY way...Is to simply
CUT BACK ON DEMAND. Stop runnin' that gas-sucking SUV...
Carpool....Get a smaller car.... Do all your errands in one trip...
Take the bus/subway/train. Whatever.

Bottom Line: REDUCE DEMAND. The rest will follow.

CONSUMERS will prevail if we all do what it takes to cut back
demand on oil. We did it in the 70's (The oil embargo - remember
THAT folks? Even-odd license plate days just for gasoline?).

We can do it now TOO. BIG OIL know it's true.

If we have a second civil war it will be because of illegal immigration. At least, in the first civil war it was divided between north and south. This time the pain in this part of the earth will be neighbor against neighbor, brother against brother.

(as the Confederates called it) was waged over STATES' RIGHTS
(slavery was indeed a PART of it, although there were
Americans of African descent that fought FOR THE SOUTH as
well, and that fact is NEVER mentioned), I can see

ILLEGAL immigration too.

All true stuff. But I don't want my point in posting that old image to be missed. When fighting an enemy as deadly as we're fighting now, it's very foolish of us to be so divided over whether we keep on fighting them or if we just give up and come home. You know they just sit back and laugh at our internal bickering.
