I think the mighty Chevy Astro which I drive has a 25-gallon tank. Gas has to be WAY cheap to fill up for under $20.
The best I've seen around here is $1.959. OPEC has decided to cut production in order to bring the price back up a bit. This is killing them. And Russia. And Venezuala!

I drive an Astro as well. It cost me 75 to 80 dollars during the rip-off, but now I've filled it from bottom to top for $38.00. Hamazing! I guess that makes sense as it has gone from nearly $4.00 to $1.39.

Astro's are fantastic gear haulers. I wish I had one.
Astro envy.
But I have a pick-up.

That's why I got mine. That and the fact that it is pimped out inside (Explorer customized,) all done in wood, embedded lighting, dvd player, electric folding couch-bed and a fridge

Mine's a 2000. 165,000 miles on it and going strong. And yes, since I play guitar and keyboards in the band AND own the PA, I needed something to haul gear. I get about 20 mpg too. It's been fun.

I had an astro van for deliveries at the medical job I had a long time ago. Do you know, that all wheel drive was a beast in the snow. It went everywhere with traction to spare.
Oh yeah, gas was $1.94 on the way to work this morning.

I drove a 1988 Astro for 12 years.. 4.3 V6... I had 185000 miles on mine... put head gaskets in at 72,000 miles and never had any other problems with it... went through 3 sets of tires and 2 batterys, thing started everyday, almost the best vehicle I have ever owned..

Aye they were damn durable, my uncle ran his dry (of oil...) and gave it an early death..
My old bosses VW van was a touch of the same.
