I shaved my head just before Christmas . .

(my buddy lost his hair through chemo, and I promised him I'd shave
mine off if he lost his, so theryago)

I told him I'll NEVER do that in Winter again, and I don't care HOW sick he
is. (He knew I was joking) LOL

Thanks Elf, but I'm a man of my word, and a promise is a promise.

On the upside, I'm getting "peach fuzz" back on top, and my moustache is
bushy again.

I got this G. Gordon Liddy thing goin' on . . . LOL

No offense meant to you, Hairy!
Uh, I think you meant Siggy...
Right! Sorry! I should have said, "No offense to you, Hairless!"

BTW, I think it is awesome that you did that for your friend. You're a good guy, Cyg. :-)

I feel compelled to explain my Bushy feelings, so as to not seem like such a douchebag to those that think he's swell.

It's like the beautiful girl with the perfect, round apple of a booty. She loves to show it and you love to see it. One day, right at the beginning of 2001 as a matter of fact, she developed a skin tag on her RIGHT butt-cheek. She was embarrassed and distraught that her once-beautiful bum was now an embarrassment. She wrestles with what to do. Should she go to a doctor for surgery? No, she'd have to reveal her damaged derriere to at least the doctor, if not a nurse or two. She's afraid to rip it off because she may do more harm and it'll surely hurt like hell. So she waits...eight long years until the thing erodes away naturally. After it was gone, any mention of this horrible ass-anomaly brought up memories of a wasted decade of disappointment and sadness, therefore met with derision and hate.

Now she lays on the beach and camps under the stars, buns exposed for all to appreciate, getting a deep, dark, golden brown tan, warming them by the fire at night, with HOPE that the horrible ass creature and the memories will never return.

Sorry you feel that way.

It's too early to judge how history will view the Bush years. But I see them as a mixed bag. There were some things he was really good at and others where he really disappointed me.

I honestly hope I am pleasantly surprised by the next administration. At the moment I can see nothing to indicate that anything will improve, but a number of indications to make me believe that things will get worse.

It seems now that if we want to improve the country we will have to stop relying on political leaders and improve it by improving ourselves first and then helping our neighbors.

As myself, but early indications are that Obama will actually follow
most of Bush's policies.

That would be disappointing to some, but in the theater of homeland
security it couldn't be better.
Don't start none...won't be none.
