Not a picture of me, or us, but still important.
My son was in his first playoff game of the year last night, back and forth, up and down the game went, no team took more than a 4 point lead. With about 20 seconds left in the game they were down 20-19, and the other team had the ball. The other team kicked the ball out of bounds trying to break the full court press Ryan's team had set and Ryan's team got the ball with about 17 seconds left. They inbounded the ball, and the center tried 1,2,3 layups with no luck. Ryan grabbed the fourth rebound, went up for a layup, and hit it with about 11-12 seconds left. On the inbounds play the other team tried to break the full court press with no luck, Ryan's teammate stole the ball, and the other team commited a hard foul with 1.1 seconds showing. They didn't call a flagrant (it was flagrant, the player committing the foul made no attempt to get the ball and bodychecked one of Ryan's teammates, and it was a HARD check). They kid who got hurt, got up, took the inbounds pass and dribbled out the clock.
Ryan was the hero last night, and I am VERY proud of him.
(What makes it twice as sweet is the kids have started to pick on him, because he's the nice kid, and last night almost everyone was going over and shaking his hand, fistbumping, and giving him five. There was one kid who said it was "a lucky shot" and I told Ryan your reply should have been "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good".)
EDIT- the time showing on the clock was the setup time for next game- they have 4 minutes to warm up between games, I couldn't get the camera out fast enough to show 00.0 left on the clock
