When I was in high school, we could quit when we were 16 too. I wanted to but my mom wouldn't let me...staying did me no good and I'm not kidding.

I went in the military at 17. Best move I ever made.
No regrets whatsoever. I learned a trade, responsibility and self-reliance.
Good luck getting that in the school system.

Yeah really...public school sucks. Although one has to be WILLING to learn these things...many are not.
