Only four weeks into the presidency of Barack Obama, they are back -- angrier and more chest-beating than ever. Actually, the mere threat of an Obama presidency was enough to revitalize them from their eight-year slumber, awaken them from their camouflaged, well-armed suburban caves. The disturbingly ugly atmosphere that marked virtually every Sarah Palin rally had its roots in this cultural resentment, which is why her fear-mongering cultural warnings about his exotic, threatening otherness -- he's a Muslim-loving, Terrorist-embracing, Rev.-Wright-following Marxist: who is the real Barack Obama? -- resonated so stingingly with the rabid lynch mobs that cheered her on.

Granted, that was a bold accusation.Big Blue Owl wrote:he's a Muslim-loving, Terrorist-embracing, Rev.-Wright-following Marxist: who is the real Barack Obama? -- resonated so stingingly with the rabid lynch mobs that cheered her on.

BUT....What if it's discovered that he IS?
ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt. Even to Al Gore.
That's right. I said it!
O still hasn't been totally up front with us yet, and his cabinet picks have
been dubious at best.
What's UP with that? Can somebody explain that to a dumb country boy?
He made a couple of 'em cough up 200,000 bucks in back taxes though!
He's a helluva tax collector! I'm down with that.
Don't start none...won't be none.
I'm up for telling the government loud and clear enough is enough. It's not based on who is in office, though. I've been trying to vote my "representatives" out for pretty much the same reason not following the constitution) for years, and I don't see Obama as having started this, just continuing it.

Nah, I didn't mean that to seem "mean-spirited"
I know that Cyg can't see Youtube and not too many others (rightly so) actually click on a video link, especially if it doesn't necessarily express their views.
Hang on, I have blueberries all over my mouth & chin. Anyone have a nappy?

Wow, that was long.
People all over our nation have their idea of what is right and wrong. Sometimes this view is tunnelminded and shallow, but still not any less legitimate. There are a lot of people filled with every spectrum of emotion over the whole President thing.
So now what?
Well we can't force them to think any certain way. We can only hope people wake up and do what is correct. I think the Left and the Right are full of crap, no big secret. Both ways can't be totally correct.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm possibly in the middle somewhere???
Time will tell.

I watched it on HBO On-Demand last weekend.Big Blue Owl wrote:I'm glad that at least one person gave a look. Thanks, t.
I liked it. I thought it was honest journalism.
Especially when Sean Hannity introduced Ms. Pelosi to the angry bible-
thumping McCain/Palin mob, then told them to treat Ms. Pelosi kindly.
And they did. (Liberals would have disemboweled her had she been
a republican.) No bullshit.
She could have easily edited the latter part (like the far-left did with the
video of Rush Limbaugh "wanting" Obama to fail - without showing the
ENTIRE video clip [The far-left MSM's typical M.O.] ) to smear Hannity,
but she kept it on the level.
I have mad respect for that. Her and her moonbat mother are apples and
oranges.
What you see is what you get in the documentary. People on the right
ARE scared, and they ARE angry. (With all the corruption being exposed
every day of this new administration, do you blame them?)
And, more importantly, is this acceptable behavior for our elected bodies
of gov't now? Unless I've been in a coma for the last month, HELL NO -
IT'S NOT.
I guess that's just a republican bellyache though....Anybody seen any
outrage from the left?
Anybody?

Tiger Woods' "We Are One" Inauguration Speech
Tiger Woods accepted an invitation to speak at Obama's inauguration....
But he didn't deliver the message his inviters had expected!
Tiger Woods spoke at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington during the
"We Are One" inauguration celebration for President-elect Barack
Obama.
Below is the text of his speech, entitled "You'll Never Walk Alone" as
posted on his Web site:
"I grew up in a military family -- and my role models in life were my Mom
and Dad, Lt. Colonel Earl Woods.
"My dad was a Special Forces operator and many nights friends would visit
our home. They represented every branch of service, and every rank. In
my Dad, and in those guests, I saw first hand the dedication and
commitment of those who serve. They come from every walk of life.
From every part of our country. Time and again, across generations,
they have defended our safety in the dark of night and far from home.
"Each day -- and particularly on this historic day -- we honor the men and
women in uniform who serve our country and protect our freedom. They
travel to the dangerous corners of the world, and we must remember
that for every person who is in uniform, there are families who wait for
them to come home safely.
"I am honored that the military is such an important part, not just of my
personal life, but of my professional life as well. The golf tournament we
do each year here in Washington is a testament to those unsung heroes.
"I am the son of a man who dedicated his life to his country, family and
the military, and I am a better person for it.
"In the summer of 1864, Abraham Lincoln, the man in whose memorial
we stand, spoke to the 164th Ohio Regiment and said:
'I am greatly obliged to you, and to all who have come forward at the call
of their country.'
"Just as they have stood tall for our country -- we must always stand by
and support the men and women in uniform and their families.
"Thank you, and it is now my pleasure to introduce the U.S. Naval Glee
Club."
You know he was greatly pressured to be there...
You know the liberals have been mad at him for a decade for not joining
their ranks...
You know he didn't want to be there.
So, instead of paying homage to Obama, he paid tribute to our
soldiers.
Not one time did Tiger mention Obama or the inauguration or the new
administration.
He knew he would disappoint, even anger, many, many liberals, but Tiger
is his own man. His old man taught him to be his own man.
Somewhere in that cold, gray Washington sky, Earl Woods was smiling
down on his son.
