To be honest, I've never felt it was important enough to raise in conversation.
I certainly don't feel the need to run over to total strangers and start talking to them just because they have a Rush T shirt on.
I also found that when people started slagging them off, if I reacted with total indifference they soon stopped.....

Thats right, we tend to burn strangers at the stake rather than go to the bother of actually talking to them!

anyhoo, I must say I was welcomed immediately,
and they seem to overlook my weirdness, such as it it.
Schu, scary isn't the word, but maybe intimidating
until you get to trade posts with you for a while.
**on a sidenote, you helped me! playing a sports trivia game
the question was "this racecar driver is the highest paid athelete outside the US." or something like that, and I stunned everyone by getting the answer! Thanks a lot!
