The worm would be enough for your IT to slamdunk YT.The summit gathers more than 800 scholars and security experts as they discuss emerging threats and their possible countermeasures. Naturally, as we see an evolution toward more sophisticated anti-spam techniques, spammers attack with evermore sneaky techniques of their own to deliver malicious messages. Among some of the clever ways hackers hide their codes are embedding them in images or disguising them as PDF files.
The article says there have been ?a few? cases of video-related hacking so far, including a worm that launches a corrupt website after a user opens a media file in a player, and another that silently installs spyware when a video file is opened. Spreading fake video links that contain worms and viruses have been attempted using YouTube.
The article goes on to say that hackers are exploiting social networking sites, which by their very nature rely on ?viral? spread via users who want to share information.
Thanks Zed. I knew there was hacking, but I thought the good guys figured it out by now....YYZ30 wrote:CygnusX1 wrote:***wonders why YT is such a "threat" and forbidden here***

Definitely a testament to how much better The Beatles were than The DoorsBig Blue Owl wrote:If the Doors played Stairway To Heaven

The difference may be the introduction to drugs. When the Beatles had this original hit of theirs that was used as the backdrop music for this tune, they hadn't been introduced to the width and breadth of the drug culture that The Doors had by the time their "used for Stairway" song was written. That may (and may not) explain the "betterness" of the Beatles version than the Doors version, but whatever the actual truth, I agree with you, Elfdude.ElfDude wrote:Definitely a testament to how much better The Beatles were than The DoorsBig Blue Owl wrote:If the Doors played Stairway To Heaven
