Dan and I agree that G-d makes kids cute so that we don't eat our own young. And the more difficult the child, the cuter he makes them!

When I was young, my mom was constantly fighting to get me to wear clothes and shoes. My "gramps" thought I was a boy for the longest time. The first time he saw me I was sunning in a California Live Oak tree near his property. He thought I was a boy, but his wife knew better. They argued over it for a long time before he finally asked me what I was. When I said I was a girl, he asked why I didn't wear a shirt and I commented that I didn't need one because I didn't have anything to cover yet. I hated it when my chest started developing. There is nothing quite like the feel of the sun on your skin.
