in my world history class, we used to watch the news for the first few minutes of class..one day, they were reporting on a college student who had supposedly committed suicide by eating some form of poisonous mushrooms, or overdosing on "shrooms" or something, right? the sophisticated news anchor said "shrooms", & the whole class busted out laughing!! so then my teacher gets up on her soapbox & gives us a half hour lecture on how she knows we're more mature than to laugh at someone who committed suicide..but holy gosh, was it funny.
