I made a word search for my class a few years back, and I just used it again a week or so ago. I make them by hand because the ones I see online are just too limiting. I put in all the science words I want them to find, then I begin filling in the space with random letters. I get bored with that in about 5 seconds, so I fill in the space with words that aren't on the word list.
This time I was in a Rush mood (when am I not, really?) and I hid all sorts of Rush stuff in there. I scanned it the other day, and have saved it both as a jpeg and as a pdf file. Anyone know how I can host a pdf? You guys might have a fun time finding all the Rush words--my kids sure did!

Sorry, dude, that seat is saved for t. We have some trouble to cause here in Pan's class! And since we have an "in" with the teacher, well, we can do what we want!

Tomorrow we get to discover what positive tests for the presence of starch and lipids look like. Won't that be fun? Be careful because iodine stains!

Don't even THINK about playing with the methylene blue! You can use it to stain your cheek cells, but only after they've been removed from your body!
