That's what I said. I don't really know Chad, but I know a friend of his. I actually shed a few tears when I got the news.

Here's what he looked like in March.

And now he is gone.

Rest in peace, Chad.

I'll take a swipe...

I lost 3 family members and my best friend in the last year...the last one
being my only sister on Aug. 27th....and I'M STILL REALLY F'N BITTER
ABOUT THAT. They were all GOOD PEOPLE WITHOUT A MEAN BONE IN
THEIR BODIES. IT JUST ISN'T RIGHT, DAMMIT.

On a lighter note, we'll meet again. Until then, life goes on and the bills
gotta be paid.

Y'all have a nice By-Tor day. I'm out.

If life made sense, bad things would only happen to bad people.

*grumble grumble mumble grumb*

I know four-wheel drives can get around in the snow, start easier, get unstuck, that kinda thing, BUT they DO NOT STOP any easier than any other vehicle and in fact it takes MORE to stop them when the driver has gotten them to a high speed.

Every time we have snow there are these people who think that because they have a four-by they can endanger my life and others by speeding past (even where there normally is a double yellow line) and today I even saw some kids turning donuts and fishtailing in a parking lot NEAR PEDESTRIANS who were trying to get across the icy snow without falling!

I have a friend who is a cop - one of his favorite quotes in the winter is:

"Just because you have four wheel drive does not mean you have four wheel stop!"

None of 'em are worth a damn on ICE.

We get ICE storms. Lots of ICE. If you've never had it before, you don't
want any of it. I saw a old man some years ago walking down a frozen
street with a jug of bleach...he poured it on peoples' tires
(for the low, low price of 5 bucks).

I can't say that the bleach was good for their tires at all (it probably
wasn't), but it sure helped 'em grip for a while and get over the hill they
were spinning on.

Guilty as charged! 4WD gets me going ABS gets me stopped..

I do have to say the kid in me loves doing doughnuts but I do not do them near pedestrians..

We got our first snow last nigt.. It amazes me how quickly people forget how to drive in it.

Seriously, I think a 4X4 is more stable than a rear wheel drive car because the rearend does not kick out when you hit the gas..

I slow it down on ice, but if its just snow.. get the hell outta my way!!! :-D

One of the guys I work with, (Joe), had a big 4X4 following him on the highway last weekend. The guy was flashing his hibeams and being a prick. Well eventually the guy went around him like a speed freak. About 30 seconds later another car blasted around Joe.

Then a deer jumped out and the 4X4 smashes into the deer and went spinning off the road into the ditch. The other car was able to stop without a problem.

Joe drove past them both flying his middle finger. I love it.

I can proudly say I am not that guy.. I dont tailgate or flash my beams.. I just got to get where I am going and I can do it a little faster than a 2wd car..

what really pisses me off though is mopeds and scooters that think they can drive in the middle of the lane and go 15MPH under the speed limit.. They I dont have a problem filling up thier mirrors with the frontend of my Ram.
