Thanks Elf. I'll stop asking myself all the "what-if's" in a few days, but in
the long run I choose to remember the good times.

This policeman is one I'd go after in the elimination of stupidity.

I normally side with law enforcement, but this guy has no business wearing a badge. I hope this video was available for this officer's superiors to review.

Was it (the video of) the American-of-African-Descent rent-a-cop in VA
that told the protesters "This isn't America anymore"...?

He was a jackass, is probably unemployed as we speak, and rightfully so.

It wasn't that one. Here's the description.
A Baltimore Cop flips out at some skateboarders after one of them doesn't take off his headphones in two seconds.
The officer is being a total prick.

Another video of the same cop.

The officer is currently under investigation... "suspended with pay".

I had the dubious honor of being arrested by Baltimore's finest after I
stuck up for a drunk buddy they were going to haul in for public
intoxication.

I (respectfully - I was sober) explained to the cops that I would make
sure the guy got home without any trouble and basically said I would
take responsibility for him, so they said, "Know what? You can go to
jail with him," and they booked me for obstructing justice.

Bo'mo' cops don't take no crap off of anybody. That's a fact. :???:

I understand if someone calls you "dude" and it's annoying to you (it doesn't bother me much), but you don't go pushing kids down and screaming at them for it. For about three seconds, he seemed cool.

I would've said, "Hey guys, this is private property. You can't skate here." or something to that effect in a calmer manner.

This cop disrespected his own badge and department. Children (this kid was 14) deserve respect too and you don't get respect by yelling at someone.

Some cops just need a Taser in the eyes, you know?

What the hell? All you had to do was pick up the phone, man.

You only lived a mile away, and only had to call me, and I'd have been
there ricky tick. How bad could it have been, huh?

Was it over a woman? I don't get it man. You were always ready for a
Budweiser, 420, a laugh.....whatever.

I loved you like a brother. We had some really good times.

What's done is done though. I'm just sorry that I had to be one of the
last to know. All you had to do was call me, man.

The hits just keep on comin' on this end, and the wife and I just held each
other for hours and tried to sort it out, but we gotta keep on pushing
along.

Hope to see you on the other side, Bro.

When I see that '66 stroker with the apehangers comin' straight at me, I'll
know it's you, and I'm gonna slap you off of it for being such an asshole.

I love you man, but you took the wrong turn Bro.

God keep you in his arms and light your way.

See ya down the road Brother.
*manhugs for Siggy*

Okay, here's one for you, my old next door neighbor, Mark, was being interviewed for television about his cabin burning to the ground. And he LIED about how he built the cabin with his own hands back in 1985! He didn't build that cabin! It had already been there decades when we moved in next door in 1970!

Now, what is up with that? Why would someone lie this way? Wasn't he getting enough attention with the house simply having been burnt? :? He needed to add to the sorrow and make us think he has it worse than he does?
