True dat....As well as the TEAM too....They handled it well too, although you could see their pain over not having their coach there with them....I was surprised at TB...What a classy city to still embrace Tony....that just RULES...
that is sad, but it makes me angry that the kid was so selfish....that he didn't think about the ones left behind to grieve and suffer for the rest of THEIR lives...I just hope it wasn't over a GIRL....geez
there's just not a good-enough reason to take ones' own life...no matter WHAT...yaknow? My folks told me a long time ago: No matter HOW bad you think YOU have it, there's ALWAYS someone who has it WORSE OFF THAN YOU...
My brother's friend committed suicide. It was AWFUL!!! Just AWFUL!!! This young man in pain doing such a thing. My brother was the last person he spoke to...he asked for a cigarette and left a party they were at. He later drove over a wooden bridge over a creek and parked there put some kind of tube from his exhaust into the driver's section of the car.
I remember my brother at hearing the news the next morning (he was still in High School and at home) and I heard him shrieking and pounding his bed screaming, "WHY??? WHY??? YOU ASSHOLE!!! You LEFT me! YOU LIED TO ME!!! WHY??? YOU ASSHOLE!!!"
I was really freaked at my brother's emotions at this 'cause he is a gentle guy and I realized what PAIN this guy caused by his (I thought) selfish actions. His family was devastated.
There are those who have almost NO hope (i.e. Tsunami, Katrina) and they persevere. There is ALWAYS a way out. Taking one's own life is a selfish act and those that are in danger of doing so need a wake-up call to see the world doesn't revolve around them and their misery. We're ALL a part of the big picture.
Rant over...I had more to say but I'll cut it now...
