ok i know y'all remember the Def Leppard song 'Rock of Ages', so could anybody tell me what this means:
Gunter glieben glauchen globen
i've heard it means "Our one-armed drummer beats his wife", but that can't be true, because pyromania was released in 1983, & Rick didn't lose his arm til '84, correct? idk. anybody know anything else about this??

"What do I do when we're not taping? Sit in a dark room and refine my plans for someday ruling Earth from a blimp. And chess." --Ryan Stiles .. brought to you by the letter 3!

"Globen" means "globes. The other 3 words are not in my German-English dictionary - and Babelfish doesn't seem to know them either.
However.... Maybe the alliteration is fake? Maybe someone stuck G's on the beginnings of some of the words.
Unter = under (note also that: unser = our)
Liebe = love (lieben = loves [to]?)
lauch = leek (lauschen = eavesdrop; laut = loud; lauten = to say)
loben = to praise
lol! that looks tough to comprehend!! thanks for the translation though..that's really interesting. i tried it on freetranslation.com, but all they translated was globen=globes & i think glieben=believes/ing..something like that! didn't make much sense to me, so maybe it's slang? i have a German friend, i wonder if maybe she could translate it? i'll see!
i'm a wo-man on a mission

Danke means thank you in German. I've been to germany to visit a brother there and he picked it up well. As for those words I don't know. I think I have a german book but I'll have to check.
