"John Rutsey, who was a viking then, Geddy, who wasn't a viking and myself formed the band as it isn't today to patrol war-torn areas of the Middle-East and to incurr as many debts as possible. This we did with a passion."
- Alex Lifeson
I know exactly what you mean about wanting to watch the guys live rather than on the screen - I felt exactly the same. I caught myself watching it a couple of times and thought "Hey! I've waited so long to see them - if I want to watch a video I'll watch RIR!!"
Incidentally, the By-Tor cartoon is on disc 2 as an easter egg
I was lined up for glory but the tickets sold out in advance

That is not so small. The place I saw them was about the same size, but with a lawn. I have never saw them indoors. I have aways wondered if it is better inside or out. We sat about 18 rows up but we were so far left of the stage the angle made it hard to see the show.
Being forced to sit for a Rush gig should be sacrilige!
Schu, not everything in America is bigger. Just everything in Texas. Especially their heads! lol
I have seen Rush in both indoor and outdoor venues, and they each have their advantages. The one place I would really love to see them is one Neil mentions in GR, The Gorge, here in Washington. It is outside up on the bank of the Columbia River, relatively small as venues go, and the acoustics are great. Well, I also would like to see them in Rotterdam on 1 oktober, but, *ahem* can't afford the airfare or time away from home. *pouts*
So, is there anyway we can help Schu ged the purple lights for her room? Maybe if we hold Geddy's blow-up doll hostage, he will give them to her?
