Anyone goin' see them on Ozzfest this summer? I'm really hoping to, I'd love nothing more than to hear Iommi live!

I like Sabbath, but I'm not their biggest fan! :shock:
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

Ah, Sabbath.

When they're good, they're one of the best around.

When they're bad...oh dear.

What a great band.. I already have my Ozzfest tickets, I got them 10 minutes after they went on sale :D

Anyone who doesn't like the song Symptom of the Universe must be deaf!

I'm a little late it seems for this thread... but I'll bite :lol: I am in a Sabbath tribute band called Wicked World. I'm a drummer. Been in the band for about 6 yrs

Used to be a Sabbath fanatic when I was in high school & college. Got to really hear the band on the Black & Blue concert video with Blue Oyster Cult (another fave of mine) and I was totally thrown into a phase of trying to be as cool as Geezer Butler :-D But musically Geezer was the reason I picked up bass in the first place (and still is :-) )

I got to hear some of his solo stuff & seriously it didn't really go well with me at first. It was after a year or so I suddenly found myself humming the song Trinity Road. Makes me regret overdubbing the tape with Helloween. :cry:
