Well, let's see, the server's down at home, so I'm at the library, the tax refund was denied, so now I can't afford the airfare to go visit my b/f, and angelfire closed down my bloody account.

fell on your knee eh? well...
I was cruising down a straightaway today at about 25, maybe thirty miles per hour. my dog was with me. we were cruising/running, when suddenly my doggie decides to stop. no problem normally, since i've got one of the fifteen foot extendo-leashes, plenty of room to stop...
when I hit my knee on the lock. wiped out, slid six feet. scraped knee, scraped elbow, six inch bruise on my side, ten minutes to re-chain my bike and re-align the handlebars and the front fork, fix my seat and kick my dog.
let me tell you, that pavement kicked my ass. but I charged blindly forward nonetheless!
finished the goddamn bikeride. I win.
