PUNT THEM! its amazing how the years go by without our help yet people still make a big deal about it.awip2062 wrote:*sigh* Oh dear, do we have to go through this again? A number of people have been all excited about how in a few days we will have finished with the first decade of this century. *grumbles and walks away*

Uh, doesn't the decade end AFTER 2010? (We did not have a year zero- we went from 1 BC to 1 AD...)
amiright?
Any driver who would intentionally blow a crosswalk with pedestrians in itawip2062 wrote:If only I had got his license plate...
needs a swift kick in the arse.
Interesting that you bring that up. I'm spec'ing a project here to install
solar-powered, L.E.D. back-lit pedestrian crossing signs at our crosswalks.
(They supposedly reduces pedestrian crosswalk vehicle "incursions" by
40%, but we'll see how it goes.)
In the meantime t - don't rely on motorists to obey the signs. Crosswalk
blowers won't care until they're involved in an incident.
(There are no crosswalk "accidents." Pedestrians cross - Vehicles YIELD.
The law is the law.)
Don't start none...won't be none.
Some people really need to be killed.

He stepped inside to feel the cool fan on his skin. Well, Ol' Annie had a bit too much grain neutral whisky so she started coming on to Marty. One thing led to another and nine short months later, their little blessing, [AK], entered this world. Unfortunately, his parents close kinship meant [AK] would suffer from flawed inbred genetics, making him blind and prone to believe nonsense like RELIGION. Poor guy."
