Just saw Journey's "Download Festival 2009" gig on VH1CL and the new
vocalist is a young Filipino dude - and a dead ringer for Steve Perry!

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!

I was horns-up \m/ impressed.

Granted, they're old as dirt now, but the new singer just gave 'em a new
lease on life.

I'm glad I waited until the post-Randy-Jackson-era to watch them again.

Saw 'em six times in the 70's/80's, and if you took a chick - you got
some lovin'-touchin'-squeezin' for sure.

I don't mean to sound like a dog, but it's so true it's not even funny.

Don't know his past, but Schon said they interviewed him and KNEW

i heard the interview was after schon messaged him on youtube and the guy didn't believe it was schon at first. something like that. Heard his band playing one of their songs and liked it.

Yep, thats the story. I have seen his cover band on you tube, and him with Journey on various shows.........he nails it.
