Speaking of Perot, he didn't know jack on policy, but he would have made America more rich than anyone ever. And most likely with no scandal.

I dunno... he was saying we could deal with the deficit by tripling gasoline taxes, stuff like that. Tax increases have never lead to prosperity. I agree about the no scandal part though.

But that stuff aside, his presence in the races split the conservative vote. Bill Clinton never had a true majority. He was winning with about 40 percent or something like that. If memory serves me something similar happened in Germany when Hitler won with about 33% of the vote.

Before all the sex talk in the thread began someone was talking about a purging of incumbants in 2010. I sure hope that's true.

Anyway, no idea what Palin is up to, but I sure hope it isn't the third party thing.

Incumbents are roadkill next year, and the ones backing O - or not - know it.

Personally, I have a new respect for Blue Dog Dems. They are
even feeling the tire marks of the Chicago machine.

Still, they're done in 2010 as well if they keep going with the flow, and
people are watchin.'

Someone has got to buck this system so we can take our country back.

And BTW - it's O's economy now. I really wish
he would give the "inherited mess" angle up. It's so weak, and no one
buys it anymore.
