How else are socialists gonna spread the wealth to lazy people, bail out
senseless mortgages and greedy lenders, and pay losers like OctoMom
(and others like her) who play the system?

I remember what it was like to be within the party with absolutely no power or influence, so it is to be understood that most in this forum will be bitter, contrary and unwilling to cooperate, help, or even wish the country and its leader well. Like a kid in the back seat, destined for the dentist. Arms folded, eyes shut tightly, crocodile tears pooling in the lap, and the occasional grunting outburst. I hated those years.

I've personally spent 33 years of my adult life doing just the opposite, soBig Blue Owl wrote:it is to be understood that most in this forum will

that is a generalization at best, and a stereotype at worst.
Like - I have a choice in the matter?

Not fair Bro....but that's life. I get over it and fulfill my mission.

Nah, you just cut the parts out that were convenient to make it an insulting statement...like Fox news!
Remember this?
"I remember what it was like to be within the party with absolutely no power or influence,"
and
"I hated those years."
So, I was saying that I've been there and I understand, yeah?

I see what you're saying...sorta like:Big Blue Owl wrote: Nah, you just cut the parts out that were convenient to make it an insulting statement...like Fox news!
Rush Limbaugh saying he "wants" Obama to fail... but not getting his
response aired in its entire context on MSM....And Fox News making sure
we saw the whole response? Rest easy, Bro. I'm good with
that. I, and millions of others got the whole story.

Yeah, you're right. You did say that, too. You also mentioned that it wasBig Blue Owl wrote:Remember this?

"most" in the forum, but most conservatives hold the tenet of hating the
sin - not the sinner, unlike "most" far-left liberals and MSM, who take a
machete to hack and dismember any opposing view of the left.

That totally freaks me out...(and they wonder why guns are flying off the
shelves?)

Ironically, Bill O'Reilly just had Dr. Marc Lamont Hill on last night. He is
asked to appear on O'Reilly often, and is one of the most liberal
professors in the United States. www.marclamonthill.com It's true...
Try Fox News for more than fifteen minutes next time!

Love you man, but I want my transparency in government, and it doesn't
happen by refusing cameras into the AFL-CIO convention to see/hear
Biden talk about "dancin' with the one that brought ya!" (Unions)
That's must-see-TV, and we want it now! LOL

Suggestions:
Require all senators and congessmen to sit down and read the constitution.
And read it again.
Then read it again.
Then actually study the thing line by line not looking at it to find support for their ways (tis applies to both conservatives and liberals) but to see what it really says.
Then start stripping back government removing every single program and law that does not fit with the Constitution.
That would (1) save us tons of money and (2) free the people of this nation again to live.
We have to do something before all our best and brightest go Galt on us. There are many who are beginning to do just that.

That sounds good. Solid ideas, t!
Perhaps the constitution should be brought up to date first, though. While I see the basics as still relevant, there are some antiquated bits that could be culled/augmented to meet our evolved society. IMHO.
Example: Political parties aren't in the constitution, like the double play isn't in the baseball rules.
Also, what about all of the amendments? Do we strip those away as well?

Bringing the Constitution up to date??!!! Absolutely not!
That is what is being done de facto in Washington! It is a wrong idea to think that. Our current way of doing things shows a great disregard for the rule of law. Revising or updating the Constitution is just more of that . . . changing what you don't want to adhere to.
The Constitution was written with purpose, for a purpose. Choosing to not abide by it is the very reason it was written . . . our society will not endure.
