Not a huge fan of the show here, but I question the voting system. However many phone lines they have... they must get overloaded...
I question whether they're really getting an accurate sample of opinion.

And if you read the disclaimer, there is a clause that they can throw out votes if they think "power dialing" which makes the process even more suspect.
