I was gonna say "That blows," but don't want to seem too jokey or insensitive.
I wonder if musician's souls are different from non-musician's. Are they placed into some gigantic "Twilight Symphony" destined to crank out the music of the ages or would they be shunned for being too ambitious and making all of that racket while they were alive?

Just think of how long the jazz musician had to play for before the stuffy shirt Classical players finally acknowledged them as "Legit" players.
Funny thing is, most jazz cats could run rings of fire around the "Legit" Classical musicians.
Both of my favorite trumpeteers are gone now. Maynard and now Freddie.

Maynard was a true genius!!! A guy I went to high school with, another great trumpet player, toured with Maynard.
Happy 2015!
