I'm thinking about my trip to Alaska that I recently took and Neil's trip there that he wrote about in Ghost Rider. A good portion of the way that we went, he also traveled, although we didn't stay in or eat in the same places he did. Still, as I have perused his book since my trip, I noted things he saw and wrote about that I saw, that we got pictures of, that I mentioned in my journal.
I've been thinking about finding a way to combine the two just for fun. What did Neil say and think about a place and what did I? About putting pictures to those places and thoughts.
I'd kinda like to do it online, but not here. Does anybody know of a site that would work, an online photo journalism site that would fit the bill or something akin? I guess I could blog it on MySpace, but I don't really want it as a blog, and it will take a fair amount of space. And I don't want to join a blog site that I will geel guilty not adding to after this, either.
Maybe it would work if I set it up as its own gallery on my SmugMug. I wonder if the comment section for photos would be large enough... And what to do for things I wanted to comment about or connect that I haven't photos for...
Anyway, any ideas or help you might have would be appreciated.
