FINALLY!

A REAL MUSICIAN wins American Idol!

Congrats David Cook!

His version of Collective Soul's "The World I Know" was excellent.

He slam-dunked it. Watch for this guy.

Don't be Elf. Archuleta was good too, but the teenybopper vote
did him in. He's set for life though. Don't feel sorry for him.

He's got a signed contract in his pocket RIGHT NOW. Believe it.

He's still got a year of AI Tour to do too, so he'll be busy!

(I KNEW something was up when they showed Dave Cook in the
"Rock Band" game commercial during the show!!)

Interesting factiod:

The majority demographic for this Idol season was the 35-plus crowd!

That's just silly!

Yep, D.A. also had his own Guitar Hero commercial, where he danced around in his underwear with a guitar like what's his name to "Old Time Rock And Roll."

What was that movie, Risky Business?

Jimmy Kimmel was brilliant as usual :-D

NO ZED! THAT'S THE DEAD GIVEAWAY!

As soon as it aired, I turned to the wife and said "It's Cook."

This was about t-minus 30 minutes before the winner was even
announced....and no Archuleta commercial, so...there ya have it.

To be fair, I could have gotten up and missed one with Archuleta,
but I don't think so...
