Obama and the primaries

All I know is that I made a $100 bet with two other people about two years ago. Who was going to be the next president. One of the guys chose Hillary, the other chose Rudy.
Me? I picked McCain.
I may not win the bet, but I won't have to pay out.

57 huh?? I wonder if he has included Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Lebanon, Syria.. I am sure he would win those, Hell Bin Laden is probably financing his campaign.ElfDude wrote:Obama has now visited "57 states".

Anyway, there are two theories behind why he said that...
One is that there really are 57 Islamic states... maybe he was talking about those.
To me he looks absolutely exhausted in that video though. I think we can contribute the little error to fatigue. I don't for a minute believe that the man is stupid.
Can you imagine if George Bush had said this though? The TV evening news would lead with the story every night for two weeks. The clip would be shown repeatedlyly on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, etc. for a very long time. To see this one you have to go to YouTube.

Just more of the same. People have been pairing pictures of the current president with pictures of chimps for years. Some will call this racist, but that argument would only work if Bush was black too.Soup4Rush wrote:Holy S***.. I don't even know what to say about that.
At least Curious George is cute...

In celebration of his having traveled to an impressive 57 states in
his bid for the Presidency (and to finally put to rest the notion that he
abhors patriotic accessories), Barack Obama's campaign has introduced
a custom line of American flag lapel pins.

Barack Obama, who labeled discussion of whether he wears a flag pin in
his lapel a false issue in a debate with Hillary Clinton, was wearing one
Monday as he campaigned in West Virginia ahead of Tuesday?s primary
vote there.
Obama made no reference to the pin, which could be clearly seen in
television images and through telephoto lenses as he spoke in
Charleston, W. Va., about veterans issues. There was no public comment
from his campaign?
Although Obama sometimes wears the pin, more often he doesn?t. And
he?s long insisted on being a different kind of politician who doesn?t resort
to gimmicks or give in to pressure to conform to the status quo.
Don't start none...won't be none.
