Watching an old episode of the first season of the original Star Trek yesterday, I heard Scotty say, "Well, the haggis is in the fire" and thought immediately of our beloved Schu.

Now that I am done for the year schoolwise, should I hang my calculator on a peg for some relax time?

Yes, you absolutely should.

Every night when I get home from Hell I hang my watch on a peg. Then, the next morning I clack it back onto my wrist like a shackle.
Someday in the future I will hang it on that peg and there it will tick its life away. Hopefully before it ticks mine away :-D

I can't wear a watch something is wrong with my electrical wiring and it won't keep the correct time. I even tried expensive ones and the same thing I am wierd that way. I don't care for them anyway
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

And the Republican Party Convention is going to be so dull. The Republicans just aren't energized over their candidate.

Or will they even hold a convention? I forget...

Time also matters when you don't sleep well and you lose almost 5 days of sleep per month.

If I may...May first. :-)

I do believe a few things and I expect this list to grow as I do.

Some people have accused me of being funny.
If you want to make God laugh, tell her your plans.

I think that people with a truly good heart get much better seats in heaven. Right next to the dessert table.

Ya know what I get from the story of Jesus' life?
Jesus got angry and Jesus wept a few times, but Jesus came with a radical message of kindness and mercy and acceptance of all of us. Acceptance and love.

I believe that there is one mountain, and many, many paths.

I believe that God loves you exactly the way you are and He loves you too much to let you stay like this.

but do you FEEL it?

that's the important thing....it's just a number to me, and I'm blessed
to have that attitude and good health, so yeah, I think about it every day.

Waking up with a headache like this, I feel it today for sure. :x
But most of the time I'm young at heart. :)

Many of my coworkers are tore up with allergies from the oak and grass
pollen here...headaches, runny noses, itchy eyes that feel like they
have sand in them...both forms of pollen are here at the same time,
and it's nasty....

You can see yellow clouds of it coming from the trees with the wind...
yecch... you guys get it that bad there?
