One reason I find that to be a precious image is, a few years ago I was driving down a main thoroughfare and on the side of the road was a guy with the typical "Will work for food" sign. I drove a little further, went through Burger King drive thru, bought a bag of burgers, fries and a drink. I drove back the other way to the guy, pulled up, handed him the food and drink and said, "I hope you have a better day, buddy." The dude looked at the hot, free food in his hands and started cursing me. You sonofabitch! F you, man! F'ing, f'ing F! And the like. I just drove off confused and pissed. I don't do that anymore. When I see one standing there I just ignore. They probably have more money in their pocket than I do and all they have to do is stand there all day.
(((((((((((((((all'a you)))))))))))))))
that was pretty nice of you dude.. wonder why he got all pissed.. I had some guy ask me for money one day, and quite honestly I did not have any, because I carry a debit card and no cash. Anyway he started ranting and raving and calling me all kinds of names.. I told him to get a job like the rest of us and continued on my way..
Happy 2015!

A friend of mine followed one of those guys home one day. Saw him walk a distance and get into his car. Then he drove for a little ways, went into a public restroom and changed into nicer clothes. Then he drove to his house... a split level ranch. Bigger than my house (yeah, mine's a shack).
My friend actually had the guts to go and knock on his door. "Weren't you out begging earlier today?" Door slammed into the face. I've since been ignoring those guys as well.

Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

you know. I think everybody can work.. I have been out to Meijer and have see all kinds of people with disabilities grinding out a 40 hour work week.. I worked with a lady who was paralyzed on her left side from a stroke. She came in everyday and worked just as hard as the rest of us..
Charity begins at home.
But my current manager told me something brilliant..
Her words:
"Some people just don't think the same way you do"
