Just doing the French thing. There are two words for "they" in French... ils, and elles. Ils is a masculine they and elles is a feminine they. If you're talking about a group of women, then you would use elles. However, if even one male steps into the group, then you would say ils.

So, following these rules, calling you all "ladies" wouldn't work here. But saying "guys" works just fine. :)
