Lyrics time! From a girl band called, "Cub"
You called me last night on the telephone
And I was glad to hear from you 'cause I was all alone
You said, "It's snowing, it's snowing! God, I hate this weather!
Now I walk through blizzards just to get us back together."

We met in the springtime at a rock-and-roll show
It was on the Bowery when it was time to go
We kissed on the subway in the middle of the night
I held your hand, you held mine, it was the best night of my life

'Cause everyone's your friend in New York City
And everything looks beautiful when you're young and pretty
The streets are paved with diamonds and there's just so much to see
But the best thing about New York City is you and me

The Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Ferry, Co-op City, Katz's and Tiffany's
Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State where Dylan lived
Coney Island and Times Square, Rockefeller Center
Wish I was there

You wrote me a letter just the other day
It said, "Springtime is coming soon so why don't you come to stay?"
I packed my stuff, it's on the bus, I can't believe it's true
I'm three days from New York City and I'm three days from you

'Cause everyone's my friend in New York City
And everything looks beautiful when you're young and pretty
The streets are paved with diamonds and there's just so much to see
But the best thing about New York City is you and me

'Cause everyone's my friend in New York City
And everything looks beautiful when you're young and pretty
The streets are paved with diamonds and there's just so much to see
But the best thing about New York City is you and me
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

My arms are too short to reach the mouse to click the shutter on the webcam to get all of me in the shot.

*Spoken like Ricky Bobby of Talladega Nights*

Dear little baby Jesus, who's sittin' in his crib watchin the Baby Einstein videos, learnin' 'bout shapes and colors. I would like to thank you for bringin' me and my momma together, and also that my kids no longer sound like retarded gang-bangers. Lord baby Jesus, or as our brothers in the south call you, jesuz, we thank you so much for this bountiful harvest of Dominos pizza, KFC, and the always delicious Taco Bell. I just want to take time to say thank you for my family. My two beautiful, beautiful, handsome striking sons, Walker, and Texas Ranger, or TR as we call him. And of course thank you, Wendy, for posting that lovely picture of yourself and that futuristic, metallic fridge, which I'm sure holds a veritable cornucopia of yuletide vittles. :-)

Naw i've been looking looking for a hat for a long time, the hat shop (seems like the only one) in the city shut down my first year of university.

Eagle and I went on an exploration this past Saturday, and I finally figured out how to post pictures. We drove about 30 miles west of where we live and found a great spot where some creeks empty into the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

LOL! So much of that looks like the Elwha River at the mouth.

I understand from E that we have to go there this summer when cousin Justin is up from California. E thinks that place is great!

Great landscape photos, looked like a fun day of exploring.

Like to put my hat on, a nice warm felt one would be good, and go explore those beautiful places on the edge of the Pacific that once were so far but now are near.
