Kares and Xan at MSG (youtube video)

Hey, I accidentally "found" Xanny and myself at the Garden concert yesterday!

Well, sort of. Actually, it's the back of our heads.

I was Googling to see if I could get a DVD boot of the MSG concert and came across Between the Wheels at the Garden. It's filmed near Geddy on his side and you can see the heads in the front row pretty clearly. I'm the "sort of" strawberry blond/red head in front of Geddy's keyboards bouncing around while I'm singing and grabbing the rail, Xanny with ?darker? reddish hair doing a quieter version (we took turns being nuts) of the same next to me on my right.

I remember during this song at one point Geddy was singing down "to" me (Xan had the same experience many times too) and I smiled and sang up ?to? him (trying to look cool, RIGHT!). He smiled back but then I "lost it" (of course) and I mean the words.

I went blank and totally messed up. I thought I would die right then and there.

What a memory! What a show!

Waiting for a trade response.

Kares if I ever learn to burn the DVD's on my 'puter,
(I can rip movies but can't burn them yet) I'll give you each a copy if you're interested.

Course then there will be a lot of bum-rushing the TV I guess.

Oh and BTW, my original comment read as "funny" to me. I don't think Geddy was really singing "to" me as if I was a private audience.

And I didn't mean that. I just meant that in the excited confusion of that night it "felt" like that because to see him looking directly at me (or us) with those kind eyes, smiling and singing...it "felt" like that and that was enough for me to get tongue-tied and lose the words.

I wonder how long or if we will ever see the footage Geddy took at the shows over the tour. I thought it was great to see his tech come out with the digital video camera for Ged to shoot at alla us.

actually Kares6, I was talking to Ged the other night on the phone, and he mentioned you. He was in fact singing to you, Xan too. He said he had trouble remembering the words too because he was stunned by your beauty..

wow, you guys were close. I am a bit envious..
