Oh come on!!!!!
Stan the man Lee, Bob Kane..........................you pick that schlub?!?!?
Because of Neil, pah-leeze?!?!?!
Kidding.
WEll, I suppose I could have chosen Lee because of Jake E. Lee, or Kane because of Kane Roberts, but I'm not really a fan of theirs as I am of Neil's....
Sir Myghin wrote:*snicker snicker* comic books ,as long as we don't start saying 'graphic novel' I'll not burst out into laughter
What is wrong with graphic novel?
doesn't have enough words to be a real novel
Did get a good laugh out of the dune graphic novel from the 1984 movie (good movie til you see the new ones but very far from dune, the comic although is quite terrible)
I'll now say that I went for Sam Kieth. The Maxx moved me like no other comic I ever read, and I'm eager to try some more of his stuff. Kieth's writing about sex, death, friendship, family, psychology, and generally absurdist sense of humor have me ensnared.

*Whips Batarang at Elfdude's ankles, tripping him up, forcing him to awkwardly roll onto a donkey's back which spooks the burro making it run panicked in circles with Elf holding on for dear life (and a bit of fun), coming to an abrupt stop when the ass sees an elephant, sending Elf flying through the air to be caught by the trunk of the massive, wrinkly, not-forgetting beast. The elephant rolls him in and out, in and out like a trombone until he expresses distinct desires for a bucket.*
