Have some special news to announce: our upcoming show may be the last you see of Alan for a while, so if you wanted to come out and hear him do his Geddy thing here's your chance.
We're playing a Halloween party at St. James Gate on Saturday October 28 with Oysterbone and Powerage, guys from Children of The Damned and a bunch of other local musicians. There'll be some Tool, some Van Halen, some AC/DC and some unexpected music and of course one full solid set of RUSH! We'll be showcasing the tunes you've come to expect from The Rush Project like Bytor and the Snow Dog, Xanadu, and Before and After plus the old favorites like Spirit of Radio and Tom Sawyer. We had a rehearsal last night after six months of not playing together and kicked the hell out of Tom Sawyer, it's real fresh and tight. It'll be a fun, high-energy show with a lot of great musicians on hand and the Gate is just the best place for a party with inside and outside stages.
If you really LOVE RUSH, come down to Belmont and check out The Rush Project! Thanks everyone. Oh don't forget to check out our website at www.therushproject.com

Thanks to everyone who came out, including Turn the Paige and Andrew. It was a chaotic night of good music kicked off by the Halloweenies. Scotty of Powerage couldn't make it so his singing duties were shared by AM Rush, Bob of Ms. Demeanor, and Mark. A lot of folks dressed up in costume and many, many thanks to the "China Cheer Crew" who hung around for the show after their party. Stay tuned for new pics and hopefully some video from the show.
