That happened in the 80's once too on CBS basketball broadcast.
With like 5 seconds left, they showed one team's last second play
design in the sideline huddle to go for the win.
A Celtics equipment guy in the locker room with the TV on saw the play
and ran to the bench with the info. Obviously it was perfectly defensed, and the Celts won. It was pure chance in those days,
but that started the whole assistant coaches blocking the cameras,
and the network cutting away after a couple seconds.
