I recieved a cool all in one digi/web/videocam, a 1kg (2.2 lb) bar of Father's Day chocolate that mysteriously shrank throughout the day, with the promise that the new Rush book will be arriving asap via Amazon.
Spent the day swimming/playing the gamecube with my eleven year old son and enjoyed an evening meal prepared by my teenage daughters. Very nice day indeed...and I still have my b'day on friday to look forward to!

Damn, how could I forget my 'Fab Dad' coffee mug! Complete with the following

'SOMETIMES PEOPLE'S FATHERS
CAN BE BORING DULL OR RUDE
BUT MY DAD IS FANTASTIC
COZ HE'S SUCH A GROOVY DUDE' :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Not to worry Schuette. I was brought up fatherless and I like to think I did allright. Wish i could say I had a Mother that made up for it but I cannot lie.
I do know several Mums in your position and they do make an even greater effort towards thier bairns. I know you fit this category :-) .

Of course it was, she doesn't work. Same as I paid for my Dad's present (The Two Towers extended edition DVD with Gollum statue) and her Dad's (a pair of slippers).
