I thought it was fascinating teaching myself of times past. I wonder how tight their underlying culture was at that time, compared to ours? To much to type all at once, so if anyone is curious about any of the above, spit out the lost citie and I'll give you what I got from an ancient book.

looking at ourselves towards a deeper understanding with brave souls showing us the way, in this day and age? Discontent is in the eye of the beholder.

Peace

Troy and Herculaneum
i only know a bit about these two

Troy was discoverd but was then destroyed! well not destroyed i guess the dude who found it (name slipps my mind) was so eager to find the troy that would have been existing during the homeric epics taht he actually dug through that troy to the 9th troy when it should have been the 7nth or something to taht effect so he ruined the troy of Homeric Epics cause he wasn't being careful, the bastard!

and Herculaneum was destroyed when Mt Visuvious erruped in what was it....80-81 Ad? during the rule of.......Emperor Titus!
that's all i can rmemeber except that Pliny the younger gives us an actually detailed written account of the event

umm but i would like to knwo about Thebes what can ya tell me about that?

All I remember is that Ogdenville is about 70 miles from Springfield and the Simpsons went to the outlet stores there to buy a TV. That was in an early season and we haven't heard about it for years.

Dunno what a Dunwich is... some sort of food between two slices of bread?
