Personally, I think the shells are a bit gaudy...but that snare probably cleans house. The set probably sounds fabulous...unless you're still into the deep tom sound. Still, if given the choice, I would probably follow in Terri Lynn Carrington, Carter Beuford, Akira Jimbo, Manu Katche, and Peter Erskin's shoes and get Yamahas...but as it is, I play an old set of Pearl Exports, and I don't complain (especially after going more than a decade of having no drums at all).
