Tuesday October 2, 1984
Worcester MA
Section 210 Row L
my first Rush concert
for $13.50.

For one regular priced seat to the upcoming Mansfield show on
Father's Day I almost paid 10 times as much.

Our digital camera is shaky now, so pics will be added
eventually.

Youn'uns indeed!

My first show was Permanent Waves tour in Milwaukee, WI. I think it was April 12, 1980. Have to look it up. It was SO cool seeing them do all those "epic" songs back then. I even spoke to Andrew MacNaughtan about that. That was his first tour too as a kid. He and I both lamented about how cool it was to see the cool "green fingers" lights during Xanadu.

Of course I was a brilliant child of 3 at the time! :-D

I was of the "old school" (eejit at the time) that thought Moving Pictures was a "sell out" album with all those short "radio-friendly" hits. HA!!!

OH YEAH. I invited Rush (I had met Alex and Char in Barbados in '79 - 6
months before - and gave them a verbal invite), but they were kinda
busy, and I was still in the Navy and in uniform, so we were BOTH a little
committed to things at hand. LOL
