Rush Should Play USO Gigs for the Troops

It would be great if Rush would play a USO charity gig for the Troops...

Hey, there are CANADIANS fighting alongside us too...

Just a thought, but I would think there's a "Ghost of a Chance" it could
happen.

What do you think? Let your opinion be known; be it for, against or indifferent!

Personally, I think it would be HUGE, and a wonderful gesture for all
fans of Rush that are currently serving their respective countries.

I doubt Rush would support anything related to a war, even the troops..

I don't think they would do it. I'm not smart enough to know what the reasoning would be. I just have a feeling they would not. SARS, Tsunami, Battered Women, cancer and AIDS research, yes, but I just have a gut that says they would stop short of a concert for the troops...any troops...even if they gathered them in Toronto.

IMHO that's a little self-centered of them, but they're rich and I'm not.

I can assume (by the negativity to the proposition) that they have no relatives or family serving, therefore no reason to give back.

Heheh, while I feel for ya, bro, I can't be limited to Imageshack. Have you tried finding a witty pic to post from there? It's like a ghost town. I still check, but have to come back to ol' reliable.

I think it has more to do with their own personal moral code, whatever that may be. And would probably not change that even if their offspring were serving.

Yes, but that doesn't make him obligated in any way to do this.

I doubt the Canadian military could save them from terrorists in their own yards, and they would still prolly not do that kind of a show. Support or not.
