The things we do for love
In my case, for the love of my children. During the next couple of months I'm taking daughters to concerts.
My older daughter's favorite band is They Might Be Giants. And that's cool, I like them. I'd promised her that we'd make sure she saw them on the fall tour. Well, turns out that the show in our state is for 21 and up only... and she's 16. D'oh! Fortunately there's a 14 and up show in Idaho. So, she and I will be making a road trip to Boise just to see the concert, spend the night, and come home again the next day.
Actually some one on one time with her will be good. I'm sure we'll have a great time.
Then there's my 12 year-old. There's a concert she's really excited to go see too. So, I bought a pair of tickets. Who are we going to see? Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus). D'oh! This will be my first experience at a big show where the audience is made up primarily of parents and their little screaming girls...

You know, Boise is about half way to here.

My kids want to see RUSH!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad its way too expensive, & its hard enough just to get 2 tickets to their shows.

Another concert tomorrow. It'll be one of those all day kind of things with tons of bands. My daughters wanted to go because the Aquabats will be there. They love the Aquabats!
Another good act will be Toad the Wet Sprocket. But I dunno how many hours we'll be able to endure...

Sounds like a very entertaining day to me.
This is entertainment in Utah?
You folks are more laid back than I imagined.
