Yep, time to look hell in the face and admit that my life is all but over . Less than a month before my birthday and I have to admit it's somewhat depressing. Berate me, insult me, offer the usual 'life begins at...' crap I just dont care anymore!
Mrs Ogg is two years older but looks younger due to myriad lotions and potions.
Then we have the eternal elf who even SOUNDS young! How in Ged's name can I compete with that?!!! .
For those who choose to join this grumbling room, feel free. How many of us are nearing this damn milestone anyway? Myself, t and leon for sure...bah humbug.

In the mind it's just a number, in my body it's another story, that I only am to blame.

I am starting to fell my age too, Ogg, no worries there. I can't eat or drink junk as much as I used to. I can't bend as well and I stiffen up at times. And I've gained 20 pounds when I never could gain anything before without gedding pregnant. I've gotta keep active or it won't be good.

I must say you don't look like an old git, though. Schu's just jealous of Bridget. *wink*

It's not so bad, Ogg! I hit 40 in December and I still feel like I'm 22, even acting it most of the time. What's the saying? "Forty is the new 30." So enjoy and look at is as an excuse to throw a party. Like we really need excuses...

And remember, the older we get, the sooner it is til the kids are out of the house!

Lol, hardly going to happen here for a while. My eldest, Tabatha, is almost twenty three and shows no sign of leaving(!!!) as she has it so easy here I suppose.

I know what you're all saying but stuff the positivity you lot . I think it's awful that I'm nearing the big four-oh, I really do. Makes you wonder in many different ways. One thing, I'm determined to enjoy my Grandson's childhood as much as possible having worked my ass off when mine were small. Apart from that nugget of wisdom...I'm ****ed!
