I got rid of norton last night and put in other anti-virus and stuff....today when viewing the emoticons they're not animated...anyone know why?

Yeah, it does always move Schu. I don't know about the Emo's though.

What alternative anti-virus are you using? Some are more aggressive than others (Zone Alarm being a prime example), I would advise checking the configuration of your pop-up blocker (usually built in with the AV) as it appears to be prohibiting the emoticon script, disable your pop up blocker and check.

I'm using AVG, Zone Alarm, Adaware and crapcleaner...I'll check the configuration.. cheers

Try disabling Zone Alarm first, continuing with the remaining adaware etc. Without sounding too geeky, emoticons and their ilk run using 'javascript', google for 'Java' and update it if all else fails.
