Thanks Hun', you seem to be the only none so far :-D . I DID say that I'd post this asap, having the impression that I've been overdoing the 'youtube' of late. Just watched it and it makes me cringe, the mistakes I made through not warming up first :( .

Im self taught on the bongos and have received many favourable comments, which is nice :-) . I'd appreciate comments regarding technique, etc etc. I tend to practise a single rhythm for a given time, basically using variations of the same theme then I'm on to something else. It's difficult to remain objective concerning one's own playing. I think I'm proficient enough although I'm more than prepared to listen to advice...however scathing :-) .
Personally I thought Elfie's 'Mood for a Day' was excellent, wins first prize for the best 'By-Tor UTube' Trophy, second can only be my Bro Hairy for his AC/DC groovin' and may I say that the 'Josh Ogg' clip is indeed worthy of a bronze!
The real test comes when I post new 'HusK' stuff with my new kit :-) .

You asked fer it bro. Here comes the scathing.

1st........................... I'm white, how could I possibly know the correct technique for bongos????

(And no, that's not meant to be racial by any means)

Actually all I know about bongo/Conga technique is what I learned in college. It is a combination of palm heel, and finger tips that make the bongo/Conga thing work. But, as long as the thingie sings........................it's workin.
