Thanks, everyone, for your birthday wishes!

The day went well, with my classes being fun and well-behaved!

Who knew teaching could be fun again?

I got my hair done in the evening (cut and colored all streaky

) and I received a bazillion compliments on it today--nobody at school had seen it down in forever! I got to talk to my sisters on my birthday, too.

I teach science.

This year I teach all 7th grade, though I have also taught classes of 6th and 8th graders. 7th graders are the best! I also love life science, so that makes it an especially good grade level for me.
